Founder of Crown Gospel Awards Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule dies at 52

Renowned Ukhozi FM Presenter and founder of the Crown Gospel Awards, Zanele Mbokazi has sadly passed away. Zanele Mbokazi was diagnosed with Lung Cancer after falling sick Live on air during her gospel Show Eshilo. She was then rushed to hospital after experiencing shortness of breath where she was diagnosed with lung cancer soon after her hospital admission and had to undergo a minor surgery earlier this year.

Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule was born on November 7, 1971, in Durban Kwazulu-Natal. She was married to Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule who confirmed the news of her passing earlier this morning, that she passed away at Parklands Hospital I’m Durban.

Zanele Mbokazi leaves behind her husband and children whom one of them plays a role on “Sibongile & the dlamini. Yolanda was celebrated by her mom for getting a good role.

Tributes are pouring in for the loved powerful woman, who was a good speaker and coach. A woman who loved God. An Icon.
