The GOOD Party has unveiled its manifesto for the Cape Town metro, ahead of the 2026 local government elections.
The party has named former councillor, Brett Herron as its mayoral candidate, with party leader Patricia de Lille backing his experience in government.
The GOOD Party has launched its election manifesto at the Athlone Civic Centre in Cape Town ahead of the 4 November Local Government Elections. The party currently holds nine seats in the City of Cape Town after securing just over 4% of the vote in the 2021 municipal elections.
This year the party says its manifesto is rooted in local concerns, with a pledge of greater transparency and accountability in delivering on commitments to residents.
