A Fuso truck crashed into a house on an unpaved, muddy road in Hazelmere, KwaZulu-Natal, on Friday. The accident caused significant damage to the home, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived at the scene at approximately 4:04 PM and found the water tanker leaning against the house. Initially, it was believed that the driver had fled the scene. However, RUSA officers located him a short while later among the crowd of onlookers.
It was determined that the accident occurred when the truck’s rear slipped off the muddy path, causing it to crash into the house. This incident highlights the dangers of traveling on unsafe, unpaved roads, especially in challenging weather conditions.
