Lekau Sehoana, the visionary behind Drip Footwear, has made a significant return to the South African sneaker industry with the launch of his latest brand, Drip Sportif.
This comes after Drip Footwear was liquidated in 2024 by the High Court in Johannesburg. South African celebrities like DJ Zinhle, demonstrated great support by attending the launch and reportedly purchasing a number of sneakers.
He launched his new brand at Mall of Africa, in Gauteng on Thursday, 27 February 2025. The launch marked the debut of the brand’s inaugural collection, “Rebirth” which is now available at TAPE stores nationwide.
“The Rebirth collection is a testament to my passion for innovative designs and commitment to pushing the boundaries of sneaker culture “, says Sehoana.
