Marumo Gallants, Chippa United, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, Polokwane City, Durban City, Mpheni Home Defenders, Baroka FC, and Cape Town Spurs are eagerly awaiting their next round in the Nedbank Cup.

The defending champions Orlando Pirates drawn against the KwaZulu-Natal, Richards Bay FC gave the Soweto Giants a hard intense game in the Round of 32 however came as the better team scoring 3 goals. Tito Maswanganyi scored a brace and Mabasa tripled the lead.

The Soweto neighbors Kaizer Chiefs scored 4 goals against Free Agents FC which plays in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League. Whilst Mamelodi Sundowns also won comfortably against Sibanye Golden Stars winning by 5 goals to 2 goals in the Nedbank Ke Yona Cup.
