In a scathing attack, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Deputy President Floyd Shivambu has accused the African National Congress (ANC) leadership of abandoning the principles of the liberation movement and colluding with “white capitalist establishment” interests.
Speaking to the SABC, Shivambu lambasted the ANC for allowing “enemies of the revolution” to infiltrate its ranks, prioritizing personal gain over the people’s interests. He emphasized that the liberation movement does not belong to any individual, including President Cyril Ramaphosa, and that the EFF will continue to contest its direction.
“Amongst the ANC there are people who are taking money directly from the white capitalist establishment who do not care about the interest of the people and we cannot fold our arms when the establishment is contesting a historical liberation movement to want to take it to the dustbin of history
