South Africa’s U19 Women’s Cricket Team has advanced to the Super Six phase of the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup after winning all three of their group matches.
The unbeaten SA Women’s U19 team secured the top spot in Group C with an impressive performance. On January 18, they faced New Zealand in their opening match, claiming victory by 22 runs. In their second match, they dominated Samoa with a 10-wicket win. Finally, they overpowered Nigeria in their third match, winning by 41 runs to conclude a flawless 3 out of 3 record.
South African U19 Women aim high and shall continue dominating the T20 as the competition continues as it stands Australia and Ireland are still await give South Africa a run for their money.
The Super Six group stage will begin on the 25th of January as South Africa will take on Ireland. Followed by the USA on the 28th, which will decide who will make it to the first semi-finals and second semi-finals which will be played on the same day the 31st. And the finals will be played on the final on Sunday the second of February.
