SA women’s U19 are set to take on Australia women’s in the first semi-finals of the competition in the super six competition of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Malaysia 2025.
After a Match abandoned against South Africa and the USA, the proteas advanced to the semi-finals as the match was called off without a single ball being played due to rainy weather, both teams shared a point amongst themselves denying South Africa another chance of continuing their unbeaten streak.
South Africa remains on top of group 2 with 7 points followed by England with 6 points, Nigeria with 5, USA with 3, New Zealand with 2, and Ireland with 1 point. Two teams qualified in Group 1 SA and England. In Group 1 India and Australia qualified for the Semifinals leaving for teams in Malaysia.
