While acknowledging the progress made, Ramaphosa emphasized that much work remains to be done in 2025 to address the challenges facing South Africans. He stressed the need for the government to work with urgency and purpose to foster an inclusive economy and create jobs.
The President cited several key indicators of economic improvement, including a slowly but steadily recovering economy, increased job opportunities for South Africans, and falling inflation rates, which have made essential goods more affordable for households.
