The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK Party) has congratulated President Donald Trump on his inauguration as the 47th President of the United States. They believe his leadership offers a chance for global fairness and justice.
One major issue the MK Party supports is President Trump’s plan to end the war in Ukraine. They see the conflict as a money-driven war that harms innocent civilians, and they praise Trump for his efforts to stop the violence.
MK Party also stands behind Trump’s stance on Palestine, calling for an end to the illegal occupation of Palestinian land. They hope that under his leadership, a fair solution will be found to help the Palestinian people.

Another area the MK Party supports is Trump’s decision to lift unfair sanctions on countries like Russia, Cuba, and several African nations. These sanctions have limited their growth and independence, and Trump’s move could lead to better global relations.
In South Africa, the MK Party hopes that President Trump will challenge unfair agreements between South Africa, the UK, and Europe, especially concerning South African coal. They also want Trump to investigate the Phalaphala farm scandal involving millions of U.S. dollars hidden by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The MK Party also applauds Trump’s decision to pull the U.S. out of the World Health Organization (WHO) and hopes he will push for changes in other organizations, like the World Trade Organization (WTO), which they believe favor narrow interests over global well-being.
However, MK Party calls for Trump to help reform the United Nations Security Council, making it fairer and more balanced, ensuring every nation’s voice is heard equally and hopeful that President Trump’s leadership will bring positive changes, promoting justice, peace, and the sovereignty of nations worldwide. They are eager to support efforts for a fairer, more just global order.
