Power utility Eskom has announced that load shedding will be pushed to stage 6
On Friday, February 9, the utility sent out a late-night notice stating that, despite two generating units being brought back online during the previous day, two generating units had also been taken offline resulting in the implementation of Stage 6 loadshedding
The move to stage 6 marks the first time that load shedding has hit these levels in 2024
Eskom said that it would announce any changes as soon as they occur.
