The Polokwane Regional Court adjourns the bail hearing for the Limpopo farm owner and his co-accused. Presiding officer Felleng Ntilane cited a pending matter, granting an application to postpone the case until November 6 at Mankweng Court A for a bail application
The accused, implicated in the gruesome murders of two women whose bodies were allegedly fed to pigs, will have to wait another month to plead their case for freedom.
The case has sparked widespread condemnation, with questions surrounding how the two women’s bodies ended up in the pigsty.
Musora, a Zimbabwean national, faces an additional charge of contravening the Immigration Act, complicating the legal proceedings further. At a previous hearing, the defense for Olivier and De Wet sought access to critical case documents, including Olivier’s warning statement and the case docket.
The State opposed these requests, stating that such information is not necessary for the bail hearing. The National Prosecuting Authority’s spokesperson, Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi, confirmed that the State has appealed the court’s decision to grant Olivier access to his statement.
