The media has been invited to a special press briefing by Former President Jacob Zuma tomorrow, December 16, 2023, at 14:00 in Soweto. Zuma is anticipated to make a “big announcement on his political future.”
Zuma is expected to be in Soweto on Saturday to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of uMkhonto we Sizwe (MK), the former military wing of the African National Congress (ANC).
He will be at Avalon Cemetery in Soweto on Saturday morning to visit some of the graves of the fallen MK soldiers, who lost their lives during the apartheid struggle.

Ramaphosa added that he will be at the forefront campaign for an ANC victory come elections 2024
