Since departing from Chiefs in 2023, Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana is currently having difficulty finding stability with one team, as he initially transferred to Al-Ahly and spent five months with the Libyan club.
The 27-year-old last found the back of the net at the club level during his tenure at Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 against Casric Stars in March 2023.

He also scored a goal on the international stage in June 2023 during the AFCON qualification match versus Namibia. After being without a club for nine months, the Burundian striker signed with the Iranian team Zob Ahan Esfahan in October, but his time there was short, as he spent less than three months at the club.
He only appeared in five matches across all competitions without scoring any goals, and it has been confirmed that he has split from Zob Ahan Esfahan and is once again a free agent.
He has the option to sign with any team he desires after leaving within the transfer window. However fans have continued to comment how he is feeling the brunt of not being part of Amakhosi.
