The Politics Video Channel on X reports that Democrats are allegedly pressuring ICE to include Elon Musk in upcoming deportation flights from the U.S.
This comes after a video of Kimbal Musk saying that him and his brother, Elon Musk were ‘illegal immigrants’ resurfaced and gone viral.
Democrats claim Elon Musk qualifies for deportation under President Donald Trump’s mass deportation plan, which has already begun in the U.S. The first deportation flight carrying immigrant detainees arrived in Cuba last week.
The Washington post reported that Elon Musk worked illegally in the country while on a student visa. He arrived in Palo Alto, Califonia in 1995 for a graduate program at Stanford University but is said to have never enrolled in any courses.
Despite widespread speculation, research confirms that there are no credible reports of Elon Musk working illegally in the U.S. while on a student visa. However, his immigration journey is well-documented.
Musk moved from Canada to the U.S. in 1995 after being accepted into Stanford University’s PhD program in applied physics. Just two days later, he left the program to pursue business ventures, co-founding Zip2 and later X.com, which eventually became PayPal. He later obtained a U.S. work visa and became a naturalized American citizen in 2002.
Amid growing rumors, WIRED reported that legal experts suggested Musk could face criminal prosecution ‘if he lied to the government as part of the immigration process.’
