The case against four individuals, including the mother of 6-year-old Joslin Smith, has been postponed to 21 October 2024. The accused appeared in the Vredenburg Magistrates’ Court in connection with the child’s disappearance from her Saldanha Bay home nearly 7 months ago.
The postponement allows for further investigation and preparation before the case proceeds.
Joslin’s disappearance has been a subject of concern and investigation since she went missing from her residence in August last year.
The accused, who include Joslin’s mother, will return to court at a later date to face charges related to the child’s disappearance. The community remains hopeful that the truth about Joslin’s whereabouts will be revealed, and justice will be served.
