Minister of Electricity Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, says the sudden heightened rolling blackouts to stage six, are a result of Eskom’s ramping up planned maintenance. Ramokgopa has been briefing the media on the state of the grid.
He says high loadshedding stages is the price they pay for being meticulous- and insisted that this strategy will eventually lead to improved grid performance
Ramokgopa says efforts are being made to avoid stage six Loadshedding and balance the grid. “Since November last year, we have made sure that we don’t get to stage six.”
The electricity minister says the president was not lying to the nation when he said “the end of loadshedding is within reach” he says the intensity of #Loadshedding has been going down over the years
