The African National Congress (ANC) in Gauteng has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely passing of Comrade Thami Ncokwane, a respected political commissar and intellectual leader within the movement. Ncokwane was widely regarded as a champion of the people, embodying the ANC’s commitment to serving South Africans.


In a statement, ANC Gauteng extended deep condolences to Ncokwane’s family, friends, colleagues, and comrades, recognizing his significant role in political education and ideological growth within the party. His skill in breaking down complex political ideas helped members, supporters, and students better understand ANC principles.

The ANC Gauteng stressed the need to honor Ncokwane’s legacy by guiding and inspiring young intellectuals dedicated to building a non-racial, non-sexist, and democratic South Africa.
