Footage has emerged showing members of the African National Congress (ANC) allegedly assaulting members of the MK party and causing damage to MK property outside the voting station during the by-elections in Pongola.
The MK party issued a statement on social media platform X, expressing its displeasure at the occurrence. They acknowledged receipt of video evidence depicting the incident and destruction.
“We have received disturbing footage of alleged ANC members assaulting MK members and damaging MK property outside the by-elections voting station in Pongola.Please be advised that we are urgently attending to the matter and will seek legal advice from our legal counsel. We will also address the matter urgently with the IEC” MK Party
