7 people have died and one is seriously injured in a head-on collision between a sedan and a police van on the R101 road near Mookgophong in Limpopo Sunday Morning
The injured officer has been taken to a hospital. The deceased are five occupants of the sedan, a police officer and a crime suspect from a police van.
The cause of this horrific accident is still unknown and is currently being investigated,
MEC Radzilani has sent messages of condolences to the bereaved families and wish the driver a speedy recovery. She has also appealed to road-users to take extra precautions during their trips in order to reduce road fatalities on the provincial roads.
