A wave of violence swept through Reiger Park, Ekurhuleni, on the 1st of November 2025 at around 16:00 – 17:00, as gunmen in two vehicles opened fire, killing 6 people and injuring three others.
The motive behind the deadly attack remains unclear, with authorities working to piece together the events.

“The circumstances of the shooting are not clear at this stage, but investigations are underway and a manhunt has been launched for the suspects”, says provincial police spokesperson, Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi.
